DYNAMOS are now in a spot of bother.
A season that started brightly is slowly turning into a nightmare.
The Harare giants suffered their first defeat of the season when they sent down 1-2 against Tonderai Ndiraya’s Chicken Inn on Sunday.
DeMbare have now gone for four games without a win.
They have registered three draws and a loss in the last four rounds of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
Consequently, the Glamour Boys are now five points behind log leaders CAPS United going into Match Day Eleven.
Interestingly, the Harare giants clash in the first installment of the Harare Derby at Rufaro on Sunday.
Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe wants to work with psychologists ahead of this crucial encounter.
“We need to go out and psyche up the boys.
“The good thing is that the team we are going to play is also coming from a loss. We are all coming from losses.
“But we have to work with psychologists to psyche up the boys so that they dust off, freshen up and we move forward,” Mangombe was quoted in the Herald.
Insiders within Dynamos claim that some members of the club’s executive no longer trust Mangombe.
The gaffer has failed to win in the last four games.
“Those who make key decisions within that executive are no longer happy with Mangombe.
“They believe they have created a conducive environment for the coach and the players and they do not see any reason why the results are not coming.
“If Mangombe loses against CAPS United then his future will certainly be in doubt,” said the source.
