Maswanhise shines at Motherwell end of season awards

Zimbabwe international Tawanda Maswanhise r scooped two major accolades at Motherwell F.C.’s End of the Season awards held on Sunday evening.

The 23-year-old forward was named the club’s Young Player of the Year in recognition of his outstanding performances throughout the campaign.

Maswanhise also walked away with the club’s Top Goalscorer award after netting an impressive 22 goals across all competitions.

The award comes on the heels of a stellar breakout campaign in Scotland for the Warriors star, who has spearheaded the Fir Park side’s charge for a European qualification spot under manager Jens Berthel Askou.

Maswanhise is currently the Scottish Premiership top goal scorer for the 2025-26 season with 17 league goals to his name.

Having also been shortlisted for the prestigious PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year award alongside teammate Elijah Just, Maswanhise’s double victory at the club’s annual awards caps off a season that has drawn substantial attention from clubs across the UK and Europe.
