Muzarabani appointed Olivine brand ambassador

Olivine Industries has appointed Zimbabwe fast-bowling star Blessing Muzarabani as its new brand ambassador in a partnership aimed at promoting excellence, resilience and national pride.

The partnership was unveiled in Harare, with Olivine saying the collaboration forms part of its “The Olivine Difference” campaign, which seeks to create a positive impact in communities while celebrating local talent.

Olivine Industries Executive Director, Mr Rudraksh Somani, said the partnership was founded on shared values and a commitment to inspiring Zimbabweans through stories of hard work and success.

“At Olivine, we believe the strongest partnerships are built on shared values. As an organisation, we want our vision of The Olivine Difference to continue with our promise of making Zimbabwe great again,” said Somani.

“Blessing is not only an exceptional cricketer but also a humble, hardworking Zimbabwean who inspires people through his actions. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Olivine family and look forward to creating memorable moments together for consumers and sports lovers across the country.”

The deal brings together one of Zimbabwe’s most established household brands and one of the country’s leading sporting figures, whose rise from humble beginnings to international cricket prominence has made him a role model for aspiring athletes.

Muzarabani said the partnership carried special significance because of the brand’s long-standing presence in Zimbabwean homes.

“Growing up, Olivine was a familiar name in our home, just as it is in so many homes across Zimbabwe. It is a privilege to now represent a brand that people know and trust,” he said.

“I’m excited about this journey and look forward to connecting with Zimbabweans in a new way and being part of their vision of The Olivine Difference.”

The agreement comes at a time when local companies are increasingly partnering with Zimbabwean sports personalities as part of efforts to strengthen brand visibility and deepen engagement with consumers.
