Ndiraya is set to understudy Besiktas legend and former coach Ertuğrul Sağlam who is in charge of the team.

Taurai Janhi the man behind the three-week attachment said the move to send Ndiraya to Turkey is part of an intiative to give football personalities exposuure.

“Football is a business which needs a lot of investment for it to bring back the rewards. Our football has been lagging behind because of lack of exposure, so this is the exposure that I’m trying to give to our coaches, Janhi said.

“When our coaches have more exposure and new skills, it improves our football, and with that excitement, the fans we have been clamouring for will start coming back to the stadiums. It’s not about Ndiraya alone, but I’m looking at linking up a number of local coaches with European clubs so that when we start the next season, a number of coaches would have had exposure.”

“I’m doing this as a personal initiative and would like this to grow with corporates coming so that the majority of our top flight coaches have a chance to broaden their skills.”
