Marvelous Nakamba’s weekly wages have been reduced to about £30 000 but the Zimbabwean international is still among the highest paid players at Championship side Luton Town.
Nakamba reportedly earned £55 000-per-week at Aston Villa.
His new wages at Luton translates to approximately £129,900 per month and £1.56 million annually.
According to Football Insider, Nakamba shares the top spot on Luton’s wage bill with teammates Jacob Brown and Tahith Chong, as the Hatters aim to balance competitive ambitions with financial prudence following their return to the Championship.
