MaBlanyo set for Dembare job

Lloyd “Mablanyo” Chigowe might have earned himself a permanent job as Dynamos coach after guiding the Glamour Boys to a second consecutive Chibuku Super Cup title.

DeMbare beat Ngezi Platinum Stars 4-2 after a penalty shootout at Rufaro on Saturday.

Chigowe was appointed on an interim basis in August when Genesis Mangombe was sacked.

Under Chigowe, DeMbare knocked Zambian giants Zesco out of the Confederation Cup, as Dynamos came within 90 minutes of reaching the money spinning group stage.

Thanks to Saturday’s victory against Ngezi, Dynamos will play in next year’s Confederation Cup.

And Chigowe is likely to get a permanent job when the club’s executive meet this week to review the season.

“Everything including Chigowe’s future will be discussed at that meeting,” a source within the Dynamos executive said
