Falcon names 2023 Summer Sports captains

Falcon College on Wednesday announced captains for 2023 Summer Sports.

The Summer sports are grouped in two with Summer Sports1 comprising of athletics, cross-country, swimming, tennis and water-polo while Summer Sports 2

Chrissy Wenham and Huggins Machaka will lead the colleges athletics team.

Wenham will captain the school’s cross-country team together with Mathew Kendall.

The swimming team will be led by Wenham and Sonny Brebner.

Patricia Munangagwa and Russel Foster will captain the tennis team.

The five captains are for five sporting disciplines namely, basketball, cricket, karate squash and volleyball.

Thabani Ndlovu is set to captain the college’s senior basketball team.

Huggins Machaka being named captain for the 1st XI cricket team.

The College’s 2023 Karate team will be led by Tony Ngwarai.

The volleyball team will be captained by Aidan Waterfall.

Ngaakudzwe Mukuhwa, is the only lady announced to captain one of the five Summer Sports 2 disciplines announced by Falcon College.

She will lead the squash team
