Real Betis Zimbabwe Academy players set for Spain .

24 Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe prospects between the ages of nine to 18 years and three members of the technical team are set to visit Seville, Spain on Friday.

The delegation is set to visit the Real Betis headquarters for an educational trip that is also full of training, assessment and exposure.

The trip which is powered by Doves will see the delegation jet in on Saturday and watch a match between Real Betis and Manchester United before they tour the Benito Villamarin Stadium and it’s facilities on Sunday.

Real Betis Zimbabwe Academy will hold their first training session on Monday before playing their first friendly match in Spain on Tuesday.

On Wednesday they will hold their second training session 

They are expected to hold their first training session on Monday before playing a friendly match on Tuesday.

 On Wednesday the team will hold another training session before emabrking on a city tour.

They will then play their second friendly match on Thursday.

The itinerary will also see the delegation getting a chance to watch the La Liga side Real Betis Balompie in action as they  battle with clubs like Manchester United and Inter Milan as part of their preparations ahead of the resumption of European club football after the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The academy is the Spanish club’s first academy in Africa and was launched back in 2020, has been conducting training sessions in Harare and Bulawayo under the watchful eye of yesteryear players like, Murape Murape, Philemon Mutyakureva, Gift Lunga Jnr and Johannes Ngodzo.
